It is mainly used on the OPGW cable line which passes trough the angle, tension and terminal tower various length of span. It is not only used for hanging overhead cable but also used for fixing, installation or pulling OPGW cable during the construction.
Dead End Tension Clamp include anchor shackles, double straps, Clevis, thimble, dead-end clamp/component(outside), structural reinforcing rods and grounding wire clamp.

OPGW Optical Cable Fittings Features
Among the fittings used for OPGW, the tension clamp is of pre-twisted wire type, and the suspension clamp is equipped with pre twisted wire and rubber pad. These two fittings have certain anti vibration ability.
In order to further strengthen the anti vibration ability, the installation of anti vibration hammer can be considered.
Generally, it is calculated according to the span: when the span is ≤ 300m, one anti vibration hammer is installed; when the span is > 300m, two anti vibration hammers are installed.

OPGW Optical Cable Feature
The OPGW optical cable is more reliable, stable and firm because it is wrapped by metal wires. Because the overhead ground wire and optical cable are integrated, compared with other optical cables, the construction period is shortened and the construction cost is saved.
In addition, if the OPGW made of aluminum clad steel wire or aluminum alloy wire is used, it is equivalent to erecting a good conductor overhead ground wire, which can reduce the potential supply current of transmission line, reduce the power frequency over-voltage, and improve the interference and dangerous influence of power line on communication line.
